After spending the summer looking for berries, playing with water, making cookies and cakes out of mud, seeds and flowers, we know here comes beautiful Fall!

Fall is the season of colors and transitions. There is nothing better than being outside to see all the changes that come with it. A different park welcomes us every day and we are able to truly perceive the transitions in nature, in ourselves and the precious teachings nature provides.

We play! And there is nothing better than that.

Fall TOCA will run from September 15th- December 19th, 2025.
There is no TOCA on Thanksgiving week, November 24th - 28th, 2025.

Morning Group

Nature classes for children 2 years old up to the age for kindergarten; minimum age is 22 months at semester begin.

Morning hours:     9:00am to 1:00pm
Extended hours:   1:00pm to 3:00pm

Tuition:
4 hours per day (9am-1pm)

2 days/week – $ 3328
3 days/week – $ 4836
4 days/week – $ 6240
5 days/week – $ 7540

Extended hours:
2 hours per day (1pm-3pm); in addition to morning group tuition.

2 days/week – $ 1664

After School Group

Nature classes for children 3-9 years old; children 3-4 years old must be fully potty trained.

Mondays & Thursdays:   3pm to 5:30pm


Tuition:
2 1/2 hours per day (3pm-5:30pm)

Mondays   – $ 880 ($ 990 w/pickup)
Thursdays – $ 960 ($ 1080 w/pickup)

Pickup currently is at PS 321 only.

There is no after school on following school holidays:


October 2nd (Yom Kippur)
October 13th (Indigenous Day)
October 20th (Diwali)

School Holidays Group

Outdoor day camp for children 3-9 years old (children must be fully potty trained).

Morning hours:     9:00am to 2:00pm


Tuition:
5 hours per day

$ 160/day

We offer TOCA on following school holidays:
September 23rd & 24th (Rosh Hashanah)
October 2nd (Yom Kippur)
October 13th (Indigenous Day)
October 20th  (Diwali)
November 4th (Election Day)
November 11th (Veteran’s Day)



No commitment; days can be selected as needed. Please read our School Holiday guidelines before completing registration.

Registration Info

  • 1. Before anything, please read our guidelines (see links above) and if anything is unclear or you have any questions related to the fall program, please contact us first.

    2. When you’re ready to commit and know your dates, fill out the form; if you’re new, you have to pay a one-time registration fee of $ 50.

    3. At the end of registration a credit card payment is required. If you’re signing up for the morning group a non-refundable deposit (25% of the tuition) is due. For after school tuition up to $ 2000 is due in full; tuition amounts over that have installment options. For school holidays the entire tuition is due.

    4. As soon as we receive your registration (and deposit), we will send you a confirmation email as well as an invoice for the remaining tuition and a clear payment schedule and payment terms.

    5. About a month before the season starts we will send out and important information email containing location & times, gear recommendations etc.

  • While we understand that circumstances change in your life, or that you just simply changed your mind, we are holding the spot for you until fall and by counting on your participation, very likely turning other people away.

  • Well, it depends when you cancel and which group you sign up for; please refer to the cancellation policy in the guidelines as well as the registration form. Please note that even if you are eligible for a refund, we cannot refund the fees our payment provider charges, as they no longer refund any fees charged.

  • We accept any major credit cards. The tuition installments (2-4 morning group) can be paid via credit card, ACH bank transfer, Venmo or Zelle.

  • Yes, we do! A discount of 15% of the sibling’s tuition is automatically calculated in the registration form and deducted from the total. The sibling’s tuition must be equal or less than the first child’s tuition for the discount to be activated.

  • The pricing quoted above is in correlation with the number of days chosen in the morning group.

    Parents can choose up to the number of days they chose for the morning hours for the extra hours (i.e. 4 days per week for mornings but 1-4 of those days with extra hours).

    Specific pricing can be found in the tuition calculator in the registration form.

  • This may seem obvious, but the question keeps coming up - we do not have after school on school holidays.

    Currently we only offer after school on Mondays & Thursdays; if you are interested in Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays, please send us an email and if there are enough people, we may open another afternoon.

    Also - currently we can only pick up at PS321 (both locations), but if there is sufficient interest, we may be able to do pickups at other schools that are within a reasonable distance to the park.

  • No worries – just shoot us an email and we’ll be happy to answer your question and help you sort it out.

FAQs

  • Yes! Rain or shine. That said we keep an eye on the weather – if there is a thunderstorm forecast, or high winds we may have to cancel.

  • Jump in puddles! Generally the rain is not the issue, but the clothing the kids wear. If the kids have the proper gear, a rainy day can be a lot of fun. That said, there are days when the amount of rain and cold temperatures (and wind) make a day pretty miserable and we may have to cancel; as when there is a thunderstorm predicted or high winds.

  • We constantly keep an eye on the weather forecast and try to do our best to email you the evening before in case we have to cancel playgroup; but even with all technology avaialble a clear answer is not always possible the evening before, in which case we check the forecast again very early the morning of playgroup. If we need to cancel, we will send you a text.

  • Yes / with limitations / no.

    Yes, if we have to cancel (i.e. due to weather, air quality etc.)

    With limitations if it’s due to illness.

    No, if it’s due to travel, a scheduling conflict, or any other personal reason.
